The town is situated in the south-east of France, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, in the Gard department, in the heart of the “Petite Camargue” and the Costieres de Nimes vineyards. Vauvert has the typical character of the agricultural villages of the last century. The old centre has kept the picturesque aspect with its narrow streets. At the Feria period, votive festivals animate ours and the surroundings villages. Close to Nimes with its magnificent and no less famous amphitheatres, the bodegas of Camargue with their rare charm, Aigues-Mortes with its perfectly intact ramparts are some of the many places to discover in the Petite Camargue.
